DGBMT – Deutsche Gesellschaft für
Biomedizinische Technik im VDE
German scientists in the field of biomedical engineering
are organized in the DGBMT, which was
founded in 1972. The Society merged with the VDE
in 2001 and now has over 1,800 members including
physicians, engineers, scientists and companies.
