Authors Schedule
Deadline to submit papers: May 22, 2008 (last extension until June 4, 2008)
Notification of acceptance: June 15, 2008
Deadline for final paper submission: July 15, 2008
Papers are invited for oral and poster presentation.
Presenters must register for the conference.
Submission
The submission and registration procedure for preconference workshops, papers,
proposals for special sessions and for exhibitors will be posted on the conference
website and will give guidelines for requests and online-submission of manuscripts.
Selection committee will give high preference to papers that clearly present the work,
methods, results, originality, significance, superiority and applications of techniques
discussed. The submitted manuscript should closely reflect the final paper, as it will
appear in the conference proceedings.

Vodovnik Student Paper Award |
As is the tradition at the IFESS meeting, there will be a student paper competition in honor of Lojze Vodovnik, a founding member and ardent supporter of IFESS. All entries will be reviewed, the top 5 papers will be scheduled for platform session with the rest being assigned poster status.
Vodovnik Student Paper Award Guidelines:
- When submitted, papers must be identified as a Vodovnik Student Paper Award submission
- Sponsor must be identified and the full contact information provided
- Student papers shall be reviewed separately by all members of the student paper
- committee Papers shall be scored on originality, scientific content and presentation.
Three prizes will be awarded:
First Place € 500
Second Place € 400
Third Place € 300
Each winner will be presented with a certificate and a plaque
