Introduction

The 33rd European Conference and Exhibition on Optical Communication (ECOC 2007) will be held at the International Congress Center (ICC)  in Berlin, Germany from Sunday, September 16 through Thursday, September 20, 2007.

ECOC is the major European conference on materials, devices and systems for applications in photonic networks. From student to expert level, ECOC is recognized as an international forum for the optical communication community. Scientific contributions and a large exhibition provide a comprehensive view on all aspects of  optical communications. A special symposium, tutorials and invited papers will analyse the impact and role of photonic technology in present and future telecommunication networks.

Following a successful tradition ECOC 2007 will be accompanied by an exhibition where a full variety of hard- and software solutions related to the scope of the conference are being displayed. Over 1500 representatives from more than 50 countries are expected to attend. As in recent years we hope to attract more than 150 exhibitors to show up in Berlin.

No more than one  Platinum sponsorship will be issued.
